Living Room/Kitchen
The living room and kitchen are situated on the top floor so you can enjoy to the full the lovely views over Loch Lomond.
A central staircase enters the area from the floor below where the bedrooms and WC are situated.
The first thing you'll notice about the living room is the magnificent original stone wall from 1745. The room offers comfortable seating with two sofas, one of which opens into a double bed. The colour TV is accompanied by DVD/video player. The shelves are stocked with a wide range of DVDs and videos, a selection of card and board games, and reading matter from local interest to the latest fiction. In short, everything you need, whether you're entertaining the kids or relaxing on a quiet evening in.
There's also a separate seating area with two chairs and a table.
The excellently-equipped kitchen/diner occupies the other end of the top floor with all the usual facilities, plus a few extra: crockery and cutlery, table linen, cooker, hob, microwave, washing machine/tumble dryer, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Here too is a large extendable pine dining table with seating for up to eight people.
A high chair is provided for children; it's also worth noting that we can provide safety gates for the stairs and a travel cot - just let us know if you need these when you book.
Our kitchen shelves are stocked with all the household essentials, and to ensure the warmest welcome possible, all our guests receive a hamper filled with a selection of traditional Scottish products!
